Dunhuang Lotus is a hand-painted illustrated book about Dunhuang murals, produced by Beijing Cefu Culture. It is divided into four sections: Venerated Figures, Science and Technology, Architecture, and Decorative Motifs. All the painted content in the book consists of renderings after the Dunhuang murals. For the damaged or missing parts of the murals, under the guidance of specialists, we made reasonable restorations in accordance with scriptural texts and by comparison with contemporaneous styles. The book is of high value for connoisseurship and appreciation, and also has a certain research value.
